On February 17, 2023, Songci Electromechanical's single crystal furnace successfully rolled off the first 210+N monocrystalline silicon rod at Trina Solar's Qinghai base. This is not only a major progress in the client's monocrystalline silicon project, but also another breakthrough in the accelerated performance of Songci Electromechanical.

The 20GW monocrystalline silicon project of Trina Solar's Qinghai base started construction on July 1, 2022. The first monocrystalline furnace was successfully ignited and calcined on February 10, 2023. The furnace was officially put into operation on February 12. The first monocrystalline silicon rod was officially rolled off the production line on the evening of the 17th, and it was successfully put into production in a short period of time.

The first single crystal furnace was successfully ignited

In the 120,000 square meters of monocrystalline silicon production workshop in the Qinghai base, more than 190 monocrystalline furnaces are neatly arranged, and everyone is full of expectations and joy for the first monocrystalline rod that will be produced by the base. It is the SC-1600 direct-pull monocrystalline furnace of Songci Electromechanical that completes this important moment . Its software system is highly intelligent, with advantages such as precise temperature control, safety and stability, and convenient operation. It can achieve 100% automation from temperature adjustment-seedling-shoulder release-shoulder rotation-equal diameter-finishing stage, and simultaneously maintain an ultra-low wire breakage rate, and can successfully pull out monocrystalline silicon rods without manual intervention on the client side.

It is reported that the Qinghai base will become one of Trina Solar's most important industrial bases in the future to ensure the supply of main materials for Trina Solar's N-type 210 battery modules, creating greater value in the next generation of high-efficiency N-type technology.
